We encourage pre-booking your car parking tickets to avoid disappointment as there will be limited parking.
You can pre-book your car parking with day or weekend car parking tickets.
Car parking tickets will be available on the day (subject to availability)
York’s Askham Bar Park and Ride will be stopping at the Knavesmire where Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta is held.
They are also extending services. Sunday services will be extended until 10.30pm, whilst Friday, Saturday and Monday services will run until 11.30pm.

Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta is held on the Knavesmire at York Racecourse. The postcode that takes you to Knavesmire Road is YO23 1EX.
Local buses will be operating throughout the Bank Holiday Weekend. We’re working with the local authority and bus companies to ensure there is enough transport.
Alternatively, you can walk to Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta. We’re approximately 1 mile from York train station.
