Ticket Terms and Conditions

Please read and understand the following term and conditions.

Balloon Fiesta’s Limited trading as Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta. Company registration: 10820208, Office address 2 Middlethorpe Business Park, Simbalk Lane, Bishopthorpe, YO23 2BD.

  1. Yorkshire Balloon Fiestas means ‘Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta, ‘Us’, ‘We’, ‘Our’ means Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta and/or its representatives, employees, and sub-contractors.
  2. We reserve the right to implement restrictions/conditions before and during the event to ensure it is safe. You must comply with all instructions given to you by Event staff and stewards, and you may be evicted without a refund if you fail to comply.
  3. We have the right refuse entry or eject anyone from the event without a refund, for reasons of public safety, any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance, injury, or for any breach of these terms and conditions.
  4. By entering the site, you give your express consent to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used any media for any purpose at any time, including CCTV, filming by the police or security staff and/or for marketing.
  5. These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time in our sole discretion and we will notify you by posting the amended terms and conditions to the event website.
  6. We shall have no liability for any loss, injury, illness or damage to any person or property sustained at the event howsoever caused in any circumstances unless caused as a direct result of our negligence and that which cannot by law be excluded or limited. Any personal property brought to the event is at your own risk.
  7. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Adult tickets can only be purchased by persons aged 18 or over on the day the festival starts.
  2. Children and teen tickets can only be purchased by an appropriately aged adult. By purchasing a child (3 and under, Age 4 to 12) ticket or Teen (Age 13 to 17) ticket you are confirming that you are either the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the teen or child for whom you are purchasing.
  3. No admission without a valid ticket.
  4. Aged 3 and under can attend FREE of charge but you must obtain a ticket for them.
  5. Before purchasing this ticket you MUST ensure you are able to attend. Your ticket is not refundable regardless of the circumstances. You can also not sell tickets on. Failure to comply will result in your ticket being cancelled.
  6. If you are buying tickets as a gift, please ensure you enter their details not your own.

 

General terms and conditions

  1. No alcohol can be taken into the event. You can only purchase alcohol once inside the event due to licencing.
  2. You are allowed to bring food and drink into the event, but NO glass containers.
  3. Dogs are allowed on site, they must be on a lead. All dog fouling must be picked up. Please be aware of noise and crowds.
  4. Please note that all balloon elements are weather dependent.
  5. Bags maybe searched upon arrival by a trained member of security staff or steward NO EXCEPTIONS.
  6. Rides, food and bars are not included in your ticket. There will be an additional cost to these.
  7. The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is prohibited on or near the event.
  8. The promotor reserves the right to change the line up without notification.
  9. On rare occasions, we may have to close arenas and/or stages. The reason for any closure or restriction may include technical or operational reasons, inclement weather, capacity, or to ensure the safety and security of guests or if the organisers reasonably consider the circumstances so require.

 

Camping

  1. No vehicles are allowed in the tent field. You will require a vehicle permit if you are bringing a campervan/motorhome or caravan.
  2. Please do NOT bring any alcohol onto the event site, you are able to bring a small quantity into the campsite. Bag searches will be carried out at each entry point to the event.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to evict any person from the event for drunk or disorderly behaviour or for breaking any of these conditions.
  4. Drones are not permitted in the event or campsites. It is a criminal offence to fly drones overpopulates areas such as festivals. To commit such an offence is punishable by law. Any drones and the pilots, found flying will have equipment confiscated and authorities will be informed to take further action. Your cooperation and support with this is appreciated.
  5. We strongly recommend never leaving any valuables unattended in your caravan or tent. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage.
  6. The campsite grounds may be uneven. Whilst every reasonable effort has been taken to ensure your safety at all times visitors are requested to take care, especially after dark or in muddy or wet conditions. Neither the organisers nor venue owner can accept responsibility for injury as a result of ground conditions however sustained whilst on these premises.
  7. BBQ’s or fires are not permitted.
  8. We do not allow the use of generators.
  9. Fire lanes must be kept clear.
  10. Please make sure you dispose of your waste responsibly, using the bins provided.
  11. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  12. Please respect others peace and privacy.
